Eyebrows

Many clients often have a challenging time navigating through all the terms for permanent cosmetic choices. Eyebrows being the top choice and with so many styles to choose from can be confusing. Here are the basics:

• MICROBLADING: Only used for eyebrows. This is a tool and technique that creates very fine “hair stroke” lines manually applied with different types of microblades.
• DIGITAL HAIR STROKES: Creates hair strokes with a digital tool or “machine”. There is a large variety of different needles we can use to create hair strokes. This is often the choice for skin that cannot tolerate the microblade. These hair strokes are more diffused.
• POWDER/SOLID: Powder brows are meant to create the look of a topical powder makeup. They are not for creating hair strokes at all. These are best for clients that want a more solid looking brow or have brows but want a base color. Solid brows are similar but usually have more density to create that “pin-up” or “vintage” feel.
• COMBO (Microblading + Ombre): Often we use combo techniques to combine powder with microblading or digital hair strokes. Combos are a good choice for clients who have little to no hair or with older brow tattoos and need a more delicate procedure. It also helps to create more natural shading and dimension.

Eyeliner

Hairline Tattoo/Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

It's the same as microblading brows. There's a thin blade that's used to create tattoos one strand at a time, directly onto the hairline. Similar to the ink used for brows that are microbladed, the ink used for the hairline fades often lasting for only about two years. This is actually a good thing because it doesn't stay forever and turn into that unnatural inky blue, but will gradually lighten and fade away completely. Also, in case you don't love it, well, it's not forever.

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a highly advanced method of cosmetic pigmentation. While similar to traditional tattooing, Scalp Micropigmentation is also unique in a variety of ways. SMP involves the use of highly specialized equipment and techniques to inject pigment into the scalp. Scalp Micropigmentation is an extremely intricate procedure with a guaranteed result.

Lashes

• EXTENSION: Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions may be made from several materials including mink and synthetic.
• PERM LIFT: Lash Lift is the beauty equivalent of a push-up bra for your lashes. The treatment instantly gives them lift, separation, and extra definition without the use of extensions or any harmful chemicals.
